From November 12 to 14, 2019, Akim Talibov and Alexander Lotov attended the Global Grain Geneva, the largest annual grain trade event in Europe. This conference is one of the main places to get real-time market information and meet new business partners.
The conference was attended by the leaders of the entire supply chain - grain producers, millers, feed / food / beverage manufacturers, traders and brokers, as well as finance, shipping, law and technology specialists who support them. There were more than 80 speakers and over 30 sessions, including Dan Basset's assessment of the 2019 harvest season and trade forecasts for 2020. About 1,000 participants from 65 countries were present, including more than 100 heads of the procurement department from the largest grain processing companies and food / feed companies - so, wherever you focus on the global market, you would find potential new trading partners.
There were such companies as Mondelez, AB InBev, ADM, Cargill, United Grain Company, Nibulon, Louis Dreyfus, AllSeeds, ED & F Man, Wadi Group.
Presentations that were accompanied by discussions were presented at the event, and the following issues were discussed:
